This site is dedicated to helping Latterday Saints enjoy the blessings of financial peace, through following the guidance given by the Leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.  If you’re not a member of the church, and want to find out more, please visit www.mormon.org.  I think it is a wonderful place to be. 

I’m a firm believer in becoming free from debt and having money for a rainy day and retirement (to serve of course).  I was excited when I came across Dave Ramsey, but felt that information was lacking on the web that would help me to understand how his teachings, and those of other financial advisors, fit with the teachings of the Leaders of the Church. 

The purpose of this website is to conveniently provide these church teachings regarding financial matters and to help to inspire Latterday Saints to follow the counsel to become debt free and have enough savings for a rainy day.  I hope that your testimony of the truthfulness of this work grows along the way as well.  Please share your comments, successes, and testimony with us.  (I’ll review comments before posting to try to avoid any spammers, etc.)  I am happy to answer questions as well as best I can.  I am not a financial advisor but I am happy to try to point you to what the prophets have taught.  I would love to hear from you at debtfreesaints@gmail.com.
